WHO WE ARE
Sonrise Paymaster$ LLC traces its origin to Sonrise Tax Service beginning in the mid 1980s. We are a family owned and operated enterprise that is built on a foundation of exceptional service and the highest integrity. Sonrise Paymaster$ is currently owned by Susan Shirk and Beth Kneasel, assisted by Ken Shirk, the founder of the business. With Beth as the Chief Operating Officer, the firm serves approximately 200 clients with the focus being churches, non-profit organizations and small owner-operated enterprises. While many of our clients have only 1 to 5 employees, we also serve several clients with over 50 employees. Although small in comparison to the national payroll firms, we employ cutting edge technology while maintaining a personal involvement with each client. The personal attention each client receives sets us apart from the larger payroll processing firms.
